We hold level 2 certification with 125% preferential procurement in terms of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003 as amended by Act 46 of 2013 and the Codes of Good Practice.
Pagdens Inc provides a full house of civil services to prospective clients and is able to assist clients from the day they sign their antenuptial contract and purchase their first property to the day that they need to set up a company or need to defend an unwanted legal action. We will be there to assist in collecting outstanding business debts and we are able to step in when there is a death in the family. With regard to our corporate and institutional clients, we aim to meet specific reporting needs and to constantly grow as the times, technology and expectations of the modern world progress.
Meet the minds
Brett was born in Port Elizabeth, schooled at Grey and studied at the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). He graduated with a B Juris and an LLB degrees. He joined Pagdens in 1995 and after completing his articles of clerkship was appointed to the Collections and Litigation Department. In 1998 he was admitted as a conveyancer and has practiced in the Property Department since then. Brett was appointed as a director in 2000. He enjoys golf, squash, running and spending time with his family.
Doc De Kock
Doc attended Queens College and thereafter studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees. Doc prosecuted for a year in Pinetown before serving his articles with the State Attorney. He joined Pagdens in 1983 and became a director in 1985. Doc specialises in conveyancing, with a special emphasis on developments. He is also a keen Estate Planner and provides guidance to the Estates Department. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and playing tennis and golf.
Matthew matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2008 and obtained his LLB degree from Nelson Mandela University in 2012. He was admitted as an attorney in 2015 and has subsequently obtained his Masters in Labour Law (cum laude). Matthew joined Pagdens as an Associate in 2017 and was appointed director in 2020. He has a passion for community upliftment and in his spare time enjoys playing hockey, swimming and spending time with his family.
