Our Team

Doc attended Queens College and thereafter studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees. Doc prosecuted for a year in Pinetown before serving his articles with the State Attorney. He joined Pagdens in 1983 and became a director in 1985. Doc specializes in conveyancing, with a special emphasis on developments. He is also a keen Estate Planner and provides guidance to the Estates Department. Doc was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.
In his spare time he enjoys gardening and playing tennis and golf.

Rob attended Woodridge College and obtained his B Juris LLB from the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). Rob joined Pagdens in 1988 where he practices in the Commercial and Litigation departments. He was appointed as a director in 1994. Rob was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.
Rob enjoys outdoor activities and sports, particularly rugby and cricket.

Wayne obtained his B.A and LL.B at the University of Natal. He was admitted as an attorney in 1988 and practised with Adams and Adams, Durban. In 1991, he established the firm of Gray Moodliar. Wayne practises in the areas of employment law, local government law and anti-corruption litigation. He enjoys gym, good literature, walking and has a keen interest in finance. He was appointed as a consultant at Pagdens in 2024.

Alexa matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2019. She then went on to obtain her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Alexa joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2024. In her spare time Alexa enjoys baking, going on runs, and spending time with her friends and family.

Amanda matriculated from Ladysmith Secondary School. She obtained her LLB degree in 2022 and her LLM in 2023 from the University of the Free State. Amanda joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2025. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking, gardening, creative writing, watching movies, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Vuyo matriculated from Tarkastad High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Administration degree at the University of Western Cape, majoring in Political Studies and Public Administration. Vuyo obtained his LLB degree in 2024 from Stadio Higher Education. In his spare time, Vuyo enjoys watching rugby (the Springboks), road running, playing rugby and spending quality time with his friends and family.
