Our Team

Doc attended Queens College and thereafter studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees. Doc prosecuted for a year in Pinetown before serving his articles with the State Attorney. He joined Pagdens in 1983 and became a director in 1985. Doc specializes in conveyancing, with a special emphasis on developments. He is also a keen Estate Planner and provides guidance to the Estates Department. Doc was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.
In his spare time he enjoys gardening and playing tennis and golf.

Rob attended Woodridge College and obtained his B Juris LLB from the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). Rob joined Pagdens in 1988 where he practices in the Commercial and Litigation departments. He was appointed as a director in 1994. Rob was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.
Rob enjoys outdoor activities and sports, particularly rugby and cricket.

Sureshni matriculated at Holy Rosary Convent. She obtained her B.A (Rhodes University) and LL.B at Natal University. She was admitted as an attorney in 1990 . She joined Gray Moodliar in 1996 . She practises in the areas of municipal and administrative law, town planning, procurement law and anti -corruption litigation . She enjoys art, politics, music, gym and gardening. Sureshni was appointed as a consultant at Pagdens in 2024.

Wayne obtained his B.A and LL.B at the University of Natal. He was admitted as an attorney in 1988 and practised with Adams and Adams, Durban. In 1991, he established the firm of Gray Moodliar. Wayne practises in the areas of employment law, local government law and anti-corruption litigation. He enjoys gym, good literature, walking and has a keen interest in finance. He was appointed as a consultant at Pagdens in 2024.

Alexa matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2019. She then went on to obtain her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Alexa joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2024. In her spare time Alexa enjoys baking, going on runs, and spending time with her friends and family.

Ross Ford graduated from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (now Nelson Mandela University) with a B.A in Law and Psychology before completing an LL.B at the University of Kwazulu-Natal. Ross went on to complete his articles and joined Pagdens as an associate in 2024. He enjoys the guitar and plays cricket and soccer in his spare time.

Rain matriculated from McLachlan in 2014. She then went on to obtain her LLB degree Cum Laude through the University of South Africa, while working full-time.
In her spare time Rain enjoys spending time with her family, keeping active and reading books. Rain joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2022.

Sizwe matriculated from Hoërskool Paul Erasmus. He obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees from the University of Johannesburg. Sizwe joined the Pagdens Team as a Candidate Attorney in 2022.
In his spare time, Sizwe enjoys reading, football, sound design and travelling with his friends and family.

Mishke matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2013. She obtained her degree in Psychological Counselling at the University of South Africa in 2018. Thereafter, she obtained her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Mishke joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2023.
In her spare time, Mishke enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and getting involved in animal welfare projects and organizations.

Lazola matriculated from York High School in George. He then read towards a BA (Law) at Rhodes University. Thereafter he read towards his LLB at Unisa while working full time.
In his spare time Lazola enjoys spending time with family, keeping active and reading up on the latest Farmers Weekly farming trends. Lazola joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2023.
