Rob was born and bred in Port Elizabeth and obtained his B Juris LLB from the Nelson Mandela University in 1987. Rob joined Pagdens in 1988 and was appointed as a director in 1994. He is currently the chairman of Pagdens. Rob enjoys outdoor activities and sports, particularly rugby and cricket.
DOC DE KOCK
Doc attended school at Queens College and thereafter attended the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BComm (Law) and LLB degrees. Doc prosecuted for a year in Pinetown before serving his articles with the State Attorney. He joined Pagdens in 1983 and became a director in 1985. Doc specialises in conveyancing, with a special emphasis on developments. He is also in charge of the Estates Department. Doc is married with 3 children and in his spare time he enjoys gardening and playing tennis and golf.
Brett was born in Port Elizabeth, schooled at Grey and studied at the Nelson Mandela University where he graduated with a B Juris (1992) and a LLB (1994). He joined Pagdens in 1995 and after completing his articles of clerkship was appointed to the Collections and Litigation Department. In 1998 he was admitted as a conveyancer and has specialised in the Property Department since then. Brett enjoys golf, squash, running and spending time with his family.
Patrick was born in Port Elizabeth and attended the Nelson Mandela University where he obtained his LLB degree. Patrick joined Pagdens as a candidate attorney in 2006 and currently practices in the Litigation Department. Patrick was appointed as a director in 2010. In his spare time Patrick enjoys spending time at game reserves, horse riding and enjoying the outdoors.
Jean was born in East London and attended the Nelson Mandela University where she obtained her LLB Degree cum laude. Jean joined Pagdens as a candidate attorney in 2008 and was appointed a director in 2011. Jean has a passion for animals and in her spare time enjoys gyming and spending time with her family.
JAN JAN EKSTEEN
Jan Jan matriculated at Kingswood College in Grahamstown. He obtained his LLB degree at the Nelson Mandela University. Jan Jan joined Pagdens as a candidate attorney in 2012 and was appointed as a director in 2015. In his spare time Jan Jan enjoys doing triathlon events and the outdoors.
Nicole attended Collegiate Girls’ High School where she matriculated in 2006. She went on to complete her B Com (Law) and LLB degrees at the Nelson Mandela University. After completing the LEAD Law School programme she commenced her articles at a Port Elizabeth law firm and in 2013 she was admitted as an attorney. Nicole joined the Pagdens team in August 2014, where she practises as an associate attorney in the Banking Department and fulfills the role of Manager of our Debt Review Department. In her spare time she enjoys travelling with friends and family and spending time outdoors.
Saajida graduated from the University of South Africa where she obtained her BComm (Law) and LLB degrees. Saajida joined Pagdens in 2014 as a candidate attorney and was admitted as an attorney and notary public in 2016. She currently practices as an associate in the Litigation Department.
Meggan completed her schooling at Alexander Road High School in 2008 and graduated from Nelson Mandela University with a LLB in 2013. She completed her articles at Pagdens in 2015 and was admitted as an attorney in 2016. Meggan was appointed as an associate at Pagdens in January 2016 and currently practices in the Banking and Litigation Departments. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
Michael was born in Port Elizabeth and attended Grey High School. He studied at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University where he obtained his Bcom (law) and LLB degrees. Michael joined Pagdens in 2015 as a candidate attorney and was appointed as an associate in 2017. In his spare time Michael enjoys running, hockey, golf and cycling.
